Amatya donates 108 tolas of gold
Singer and musician Yogeshwar Amatya has donated 108 tolas of gold. He helped for the gold roof and gajur of Karyavinayak temple in Lalitpur, Bungmati. With thedonation of Yogeshwar, gold plating has been done on the temple’s roof and pinnacle. Instead of gold, Yogeshwar directly contributed an amount equal to 108 tolas of gold. Looking at the market value of the work done for the roof and pinnacle, his support is equal to Nepalese Rupees 12 million 61 thousand 577.
A public call for help was made to renovate the Karyavinayak temple. Amatya helped after knowing about the announcement.
Amatya is currently out of the country. The support is said to be from him and his wife. Singer Amatya, who became famous through the song ‘Jab Sandhya Huncha’, has many other famous songs to his portfolio. Some of which are ” Kya Bore Bhayo”, “Laiza Chari”, “Logne Manche” etc.
