Centenarian Satya Mohan Joshi’s health deteriorates, shifted to intensive care

Centenarian Satya Mohan Joshiwho has been suffering from prostate and heart conditions since a long time  has been shifted to the intensive care unit of KIST Medical College and Teaching Hospital in Lalitpur following further deterioration of his health.
The hospital issued a statement notifying that  Joshi was shifted to the ICU upon doctor’s  recommendations after he contracted a urinary infection and chest pneumonia.
The dengue infection has weakened him more, as per the hospital statement.

Joshi was admitted to the emergency ward of the hospital on September 23 following a complaint of weakness. After undergoing several tests, a dengue infection was also confirmed in 103 years old Joshi.

The hospital has been providing free health services and nursing services while staying at home to Joshi and his wife.
