Sajha’s electric buses in operation
Sajha Yatayat has brought three electric buses into operation from today. Sajha Yatayat formally launched the service this morning from its Pulchowk based office. These buses have female drivers and conductors.
Manufactured in the electric bus factory of CHTCHO Company in Nanjing, China. the remaining 37 buses will also arrive in Nepal shortly as per Sajha Yatayat.
Electric buses with a capacity of 25 seats and above have started service with features like WiFi, TV display, CCTV etc. There is also a facility with a ramp for differently-able people to get on the bus.
The government had decided to buy 300 electric buses with government investment on December 24, 2018.
